-- Elie Wiesel's writing questions the reason for oppression, both on a human and on a divine level. This daring script puts God in defense, while the innkeeper and travelers attempt to solve problems of their own in a lowly tavern on earth. The room opens up toward the darkness of the night and the vastness of the heavens, allowing their questions and prayers to be heard above the eroding structure.
